Brittany France

We have stayed in two different, but both gorgeous, places in Brittany. We stayed first in St Lunaire, near St Malo, a Medieval city with a huge stone wall around it to keep invaders out. St Lunaire is a very elegant beachside holiday resort, with huge houses belonging to wealthy Parisiens. They are empty for most of the year.
We stayed in a beautiful house owned by Bernard and Christilla. Their son Thomas might be coming to Sydney in October.
For the list few days we have stayed in another beautiful home, but this time in the countryside. Their were cream-colored horses next door.
We have visited a castle, been to markets in small, ancient towns, been to French beaches to swim, and eaten lots of absolutely delicious, very fattening, food. Croissants with fruit, or chocolate, cheeses, special pizza called pissaladiere, creamy ice-cream. All very yummy!
Now we are on a train going South to Biarritz.
We miss being with you, especially for all the birthdays. Happy birthday Deborah, I'm sure you celebrated well.
We can only communicate when we can connect to wifi, which is a bit hit and miss.
