Bastia

We are now in the North of Corsica, ready to fly out of Bastia airport at 7am tomorrow.
We have driven to a number of villages and ports on the Cap Corse today. The Cap Corse is like a narrow finger of land pointing North. The roads are terrifying- winding, poor condition, and too narrow for two cars to pass without one moving off the road a bit. David did a great job in successfully negotiating them. Hardest road ever- Maui, Cap Cotse on the next rung.
We had a lovely lunch at a little port on the fingernail of Cap Corse. Here are some photos of the day.
Parking is at a premium in thes villages that were built long before cars came along. The locals are very clever at finding tight spots to park. This guy's truck was a bit too tight for my liking!!
